Step 3: Start Bidding
Join the auction and win your vehicle
How to Start Bidding
Once you register, you’ll receive your password by email. Log in and start bidding in our online vehicle auctions. You can place bids during the Preliminary Bidding period or join the Live Virtual Auction. We recommend entering your maximum bid early so the Bid4U system can bid automatically on your behalf. If someone outbids you, you’ll receive an email and have the chance to bid again.
Auction Restrictions
You cannot bid on vehicles located in Kansas or Missouri due to state restrictions. However, you can participate in all other auctions across the U.S. and Canada. Before purchasing a salvage title vehicle, check with your local DMV to understand the process and documents required to obtain a rebuilt title.
Title and Legal Information
All vehicles are sold with the documents listed in their description. If a vehicle has a lien, you will be responsible for it. Titles are always reassigned to the registered user only. We do not transfer titles to any other name under any circumstances.
After Winning the Auction
If the vehicle is listed as “on minimum bid” or “on approval”, the seller has until 9 PM PST of the next business day to respond to your offer. You can track the status in your account under the “Open Items” tab. If it says “seller countered,” you can choose to keep your offer, accept theirs, or raise your bid. You’ll be notified by email once you’re awarded the vehicle.
Step 4: Payment & Transportation
Pay securely and arrange pickup the right way
Payments must be made to Inloher Corp. by wire transfer or direct deposit only — never at a Copart location. After payment, email us your lot number, payment amount, and receipt. You have 2 business days to pay before late fees apply, and 7 days before your purchase is forfeited.
Once we receive your payment and signed documents, we’ll email you a Vehicle Release Authorization. Only then can your transport company pick up the vehicle—you cannot remove it yourself. Copart requires pickup appointments through their mobile app.
Storage fees begin after 3 days, increasing daily. If not picked up within 30 days, the vehicle is considered abandoned.Titles are mailed once we receive them from Copart, usually within 30 days.
Be sure to read our Terms & Conditions before participating in the auctions.
